The CARP DECKS was one of the first floats that we worked exclusively on with Aidan Mansfeild and now it’s his N°1 go to float for all his open water carp fishing. Its a very versatile float for open water and deep venues, commercials like hayfield larford lakes boddington but equally at home on venues like viaduct when faced with large carp and extreme weights.
This float offers a lot of options in one float with it being made from super strong igf110 foam and DS POLE FLOATS custom made “Hybrid Power Eyes”. In testing this eye & foam combination as lifted 7kg groundbait direct from the eye with zero damage, there is video on DS POLE FLOATS facebook page showing just that…..
Now the float its self is well balanced power house for big angry carp with no stress at all on the float. The 2mm ultra hi vis tips allows you to shot it to a pimple or in rough conditions fish it like a light house.
The sizes range 0.2grams to 2gram a 2.2mm, In testing this float as been fished in depths upto 15ft and one angler also used it with very good results at decoy lakes in a size 0.4g for the deep margins you find at this venue.
